Courage is created by activity, rejection, and results
Today let’s squash a few bugs in the programming of how things are supposed to be. No lectures – just acceptance:
It is in our nature to judge. We judge the fruit before we put it into our shopping basket at the grocery store. You never know when the moment’s going to be squandered and left…
And you didn’t say what you wanted to say…
You didn’t express yourself…
You didn’t do it because you were afraid…
You were afraid of what others would think about you…
You should be able to express what you think and what you feel…
Express yourself not to hurt people’s feelings…not to be mean, but just to be able to say what you want to say.
Remember, we will always be judged. It is in our nature to judge. We judge the fruit before we put it into our shopping basket at the grocery store.
I do my best daily to be more and more self-aware. With so much going on in my life, I sometimes forget to take a step back to see who’s following me and who’s leading me.
Let other people brag about what interests them; your objective is to influence and bring value to the other person, not to prove you are better than them.
I will leave you with this:
- Think excellence
- Set kick-ass examples
- Speak up
- Let other people help you
- Take risks and take action
